The first part of my recreation of the Megapol armour from X-COM Apocalypse, base modelled in 3DS Max and textures done in Substance Painter.
This part of the armour was fairly awkward to model as one piece so it is mostly made up of different parts and attached using the boolean tools and edited as seperate parts/elements.
Original source material for the Megapol armour varies quite abit as by release there were 3 different versions depicted between the US box art, ingame UFOpaedia and ingame inventory sprites so to create the armour I'm largely basing it off the UFOpaedia version while making it more "practical/wearable" by incorporating elements from the other versions and personal edits.
