UFO Battleship from X-COM Apocalypse, base modelled in 3DS Max, textures + extra detailing done in Substance Painter.
One of the most dangerous UFOs to appear in X-Com Apocalypse, I was expecting this UFO to be alot more difficult to model however due to the angle which the original UFOpaedia entry render is taken it was much easier than expected alongside using new techniques which I have learned through the UFO rebuild project for OpenApoc among other projects aswell made not only the initial modelling process much faster and easier but also made the UV mapping process alot easier aswell allowing me to use only a single 4K texture for the entire model.
I'm overall very happy with how it turned out though as with the rest of the UFOs I have rebuilt I would like to return and model in weapon emplacements and such details.
